Initiation as a ceremony of consecration is the Divine act in which the Higher Power blesses the being that is submitted to it. Many of the orders and fraternities that were previously able to perform it today have lost their power, their egregores are weak and for the most part, are very disconnected from this world. With their strength thus diminished and with many of their members without the training necessary to reactivate it, their secrets are lost. For years their ceremonies are performed, repeating the same signs and words of power, but the essence is lost, thus making the Sacred act of joining a Divine current called Initiation, impossible.
