This edition is the most complete and reliable presentation ever published and includes the sigils and illustrations known to be associated with this work. The Grimoire of Pope Honorius has been diligently translated by Ms. Kim Ch’ien from the Old German of 1220. This edition also includes an exhaustive bibliographic prolegomenon by Mr. John Davis. Appended to the work is a translation of the 15^th century Ecclesiastic work, Coniurationes Demonum, translated from the Latin by Mr. Matthew Sullivan. Also included for scholars of medieval grimoires is a philologic study of the French and Italian editions of this work. The original German has been included to better enable the serious student to verify the quality of the translation. Also included is both the English and original French texts of the Constitution of Pope Honorius; while not a part of the German grimoire proper, it has been included to make this the most complete edition possible.
