It contains details of the origin of Oregon Scottish Rite and biographies of the early members who received the 33 degree. Ill. Brother Pope continued to work on it until his death in 1912. The next historian Brydon Nicoll added three more biographies after which the Journal sat on a shelf in the library for the next 102 years. Brother Robinson picked up the project in 2014, copying the original journal, to which was added pictures and 27 more biographies covering the first 50 years of Scottish Rite Masonry in Oregon
