This is not the same version of The Grimoire of Pope Honorius published by other publishers. Other editions rely on the French texts for their source while this is a translation from a unique manuscript which was in the possession of a Swabian (Southwestern Germany) peasant and was collected by Johann Scheible for his monumental “Das Kloster” in 1847. The reader has been welcomed to study the translation of the original text and it has been included along with the English.
This edition is as complete as is possible, and includes the sigils and illustrations known to be associated with this work. The Grimoire of Pope Honorius III has been diligently translated by Ms. Kim Ch’ien from the Old German. This edition also includes an exhaustive bibliographic prolegomenon by Mr. John Davis. Appended to the work is a translation of the 15th century Ecclesiatic work, “Coniurationes Demonum”, translated from the Latin by Mr. Matthew Sullivan along with an annotated exposition of the major antique and modern editions of the grimoire.
