Description

The artwork in Shadows: Supernatural Beings in Southeast Asian Folklore was created by various Asian artists from different regions. The author’s travels and experiences in different regions of Asia have allowed him to personally encounter the essence of these spirits, as well as collect various stories and methods to summon them.

The book features a wide range of spirits—most of them unknown in the West due to language barriers and cultural borders. Within its pages, readers will discover spirits from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Myanmar.

This is a fascinating work for anyone seeking to learn more about Asian esotericism and folklore.
