Verified ownerTHP needs no introduction. One of my top 5 favorite publishers and it’s not hard to see why. The Occult Reliquary is a fascinating look at the Richel Eldermen archive housed in the museum of witchcraft in Boscastle, England. While the quality of the deluxe editions produced by THP are phenomenal, I gave this title 4 stars for the simple fact it lacks in detail. While the images and artifacts are intriguing and printed on high quality paper, there are no descriptions to any of them which leaves the reader to research on their own. While I do understand it is meant to stir the adept’s yearning for answers, I wish it provided a bit more information or guidance as to some of the images and their meanings. More of a picture book than informational, but beautiful none the less.
