I should start this by saying that most of Mark Alan Smith's texts are not for beginners. Queen of Hell, maybe, but this text wastes no time and aside from an introduction almost immediately gets to work. It makes it hard to praise this book in the same way I would any other, but there is a reason why I regularly dive into Primal Craft. This interesting perspective has always been a fascinating read, and this is no exception.
This is the dark side of Hecate, and you really get that throughout. While this certainly is Draconian path, its use of seals and focus on specific practice read like a medieval grimoire. Equally there are spells as there are invocations and seals, beautifully drawn alongside the art might I add. It's a difficult text at some points, but for anyone whose dived into at least Queen of Hell if not all of the original Primal Craft trilogy, this path is worth continuing.
