This beautiful book offers a wealth of information that spans across many different cultures and their interactions with the underworld & the dead. It offers an effective wealth of knowledge and technique in working with Necromancy.
Well researched examples such as the Babylonian Irkalla, the Celtic Tír nAill, and Germanic/Scandinavian Hel, to the infamous and fearfully respected Aztec Mictlāntēcutli the God of the Dead, and King of Mictlin.
For a smaller book, the level of practical and an almost innate sense of knowledge is a little staggering at first. While not generally being a book geared to beginners, it’s still so very concise and straightforward. So even those just starting out can use the material with just just a little more diligence, not to mention having a proverbial encyclopedic like, wealth of knowledge and guidance.
