Orig. published anonymously in a small private edition in 1904, this revised & enlarged edition from the Teitan Press brings a previously obscure Crowley work to a new audience. Crowley scholar & editor Starr offers a detailed 13-page Prolegomenon in which he places this book & Crowley’s attitudes on sex in literature in the sociocultural climate of early 20th-century England. First published in this format in 1986, this is the corrected, reset edition with aforementioned prolegomenon, apparently from same year. Hardcover book has creamy white cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to front & spine.
